Cape Cod artist Neal Nichols carries the world in his head and he brings it into the classroom. For years, Neal has devoted his life to world travel. In 1992, his travels, combined with his artistic abilities and photographic memory, led to the creation of The Geography Gameshow, an interactive learning experience which would captivate any audience. With a marker, a board and a few souvenirs from his world travels, Neal engages in a whirlwind game show demonstration by drawing a map of the world in just moments, entirely from memory, while quizzing the students on the locations of various countries, cities, and geographical features. Students are excited to learn about new places around the globe, often without realizing they're learning. Everyone leaves the classroom enriched and inspired. |
